What a night to remember! Our Daughters of Faith Winter Wonderland Sneaker Ball was filled with games, great food, laughter, and beautiful fellowship. What a great success and the young people truly had a good time.

Daughters of Faith & Girl Scouts

What a full and beautiful day for our Daughters of Faith & Girl Scouts! 

The day began with their monthly meeting and Bible lesson, grounding them in faith and purpose. From there, the girls put love into action by creating holiday cards for the children at Texas Children’s Hospital, spreading joy one card at a time.

After sharing lunch and laughter, they wrapped up the day with a sweet visit to Gingerbread Village.

ANNUAL BREAST CANCER WALK

Recently, our church family walked in unity for our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! After service, we came together to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and show our support for those still fighting. It was a beautiful day filled with fellowship, faith, and community.

Our Junior Deacons did an amazing job hosting Senior Bingo this weekend! It was a beautiful time of fellowship, food, and fun — generations coming together in laughter and love. We’re so proud of our young leaders for serving with such joy and heart!

MAN AND WOMAN OF THE YEAR

For the past decade, Galilee Missionary Baptist Church has honored outstanding members with the Man and Woman of the Year awards—recognizing individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, dedication, and devotion to both the church and God. 

This year was no exception. The 2025 Man of the Year is Rev. Kenneth McQueen, and the 2025 Woman of the Year is Dr. Phelecia Parks. Congratulation to both recipients for their faithful commitment and outstanding contributions!

Back-to-School Free Haircuts

Children of all ages recently lined up at Galilee to receive free back-to-school haircuts.

Oftentimes, people’s hair can have a big impact on their confidence. Sometimes you have kids at school who don’t get that or don’t get a chance to go to a barbershop as often as they’d like for whatever reason, so it’s nice just to know that all the kids are going to start the new school year clean and groomed.
