OUTREACH

OUR MISSION

To provide the homeless and families with an immediate need with food, clothing and tools to help build a bridge to self-sufficiency. We bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting and offer assistance. We haveNext page two major projects; “Adopt A Child” and “Back-2-School.” These drives provide help to children that would normally go without.

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. – Matthew 25:42-45

ADOPT A CHILD

This program provides Christmas gifts for less fortunate children. Any person may submit a child’s name between the ages of infancy to 12 years of age. A week prior to Christmas day, gifts from the child’s wish list are presented to the person submitting the name. In 2013, thirty-nine (39) children had a wonderful Christmas because of the success of this program.

BACK-2-SCHOOL

Members of the church donate school supplies, uniforms and backpacks for any school or college age student. A designated week is announced when items may be pick up. In 2013, over fifty (50) students received items that equipped them for the first day of school.
