At Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, your faithful giving supports a wide range of ministries and missions. Each fund plays a unique role in helping us worship, serve, and grow as a church family. Below is a brief explanation of the funds we collect:
Supports the day-to-day operations of the church, including utilities, maintenance, supplies, insurance, and staff salaries. This fund keeps the church functioning smoothly.
A biblical principle (Malachi 3:10) where members give 10% of their income to honor God and support the work of the church. Tithes often help cover ongoing expenses through the General Fund.
This is a temporary fund used only when there are major church projects that exceed what the General Fund and Tithes can cover. Members are asked to contribute only during designated campaigns for specific needs such as major repairs, renovations, or large upgrades. Once the project goal is reached, the fund is paused until needed again.
Used to assist church members or community individuals in need—providing emergency help with food, housing, or other critical needs. Administered with care by church leadership.
Supports the personal ministry needs of our Pastor, including appreciation efforts, travel, and special occasions. This fund allows us to bless and support the one who faithfully leads us.
Provides financial assistance to students in our church pursuing higher education. Contributions help encourage academic achievement and spiritual growth in the next generation.
Supports the teaching ministry of Sunday School by providing curriculum materials, classroom supplies, and training resources for all age groups.
Collected by specific church ministries (e.g., Usher Board, Junior Deacons, Choir, Mission, etc.) to support their unique work and activities throughout the year, including uniforms, supplies, and outreach efforts.
