Tithes

A tithe is 10% of your income and it is God’s plan for financing His church.  Tithes are used for paying utilities, meeting payrolls, purchasing supplies, and the overall operations of the church. The tithe is essential to carrying out the Great Commission of the Church.

Offerings

Anything you give more than the required tithe counts as an offering.   Unlike tithing, which has a required amount of how much you should give, offerings are more of a free will. Offerings are used in the same manner as a tithe.

Benevolent Offerings

The Benevolent fund is used for charitable contributions to the sick and others who are in need.  This fund supported many members who were effected by Hurricane Harvey, is used on a regular basis to feed the hungry, and have supported those needing medical supplies.  The church has met and continues to meet the needs of many members of the church and community from Benevolent fund proceeds.

Building Fund Donations

Building fund donations are used for the overall maintenance of the church facilities and financing future new construction projects.

Vision Fund Donations

Vision fund donations are used for the financing of future new church facilities. Members are asked to give $7 per week in the blue envelopes or you may pay once a month ($28 for four Sunday s in a month or $35 for five Sundays in a month).   All those who support this effort by donating the full amount by the end of the month will be listed in the church bulletin as a Visionary member.

Pastor’s Aide

The Pastor’s Aide fund is used to support the pastor and the administration of his office. This fund may be used to purchase new study materials, provide for transportation and accommodation when the pastor is conducting church business, and support of the annual pastor’s anniversary.
